Gottesman Real Estate Partners has announced that construction has begun on Sea Girt Square, a 53,000-sq. ft. retail complex in Sea Girt in Monmouth County at the site of the former Old Mill Plaza. The center is located at the intersection of Route 35 and Ocean Road, in the heart of the area’s prime retail corridor—an area occupied by established retailers like Gap, Talbot’s, Ann Taylor, Coldwater Creek, Banana Republic, Williams-Sonoma and more. Completion of the initial phase is scheduled for September 2010. The second phase will be completed in February 2011.

Gottesman Real Estate Partners has purchased the property at 19 Roszel Road in Princeton, N.J.; the site is approved for the development of 100,500 square feet of Class A office space in two buildings.

The location is at the epicenter of the Princeton Corridor, with easy access to Route 1 at Alexander Road and immediately adjacent to the prestigious Carnegie Center office park. The approved plans, which include a 62,500-square-foot building and a 38,000-square-foot building, offer a high degree of flexibility for tenants. The three-story structures offer full-floor opportunities as small as 13,000 square feet, yet floors can be further divided or combined to accommodate a wide range of tenant needs.

Gottesman Real Estate Partners has announced the first purchase of its new acquisition program, the 203,871-square-foot property at 2 Cranberry Road in Parsippany, NJ.

Gottesman Real Estate purchased the flex building, fully occupied by six tenants, for $19.05 million from an affiliate of AVR Realty Company, LLC, of Yonkers, NY. AVR had owned the property since shortly after its development by Turner Construction Company in 1986.
